No it isn't. Not by any stretch of the imagination are e-readers and their ilk considered 'in'.

You can't tell what's being read for a start, and for the true poseur that will always be the whole point of reading in public.

I've never tried any e-readers (Kindle, iPad etc) but I spend enough time staring at a computer screen as it is without doing so in my leisure time! I think I'll stick to books for now.

You may have a point there which did not occur to me but now I come to think about one could usually read the title from the cover!

Bob, It's not a computer but more like a book where on can turn the pages and carry around.

To wrap up this post it seems that the majority of you are not going to embrace the new technology and prefer the printed book.
Thanks for your help I have three books written and published on digital at the moment and one paperback.
It seems that I have to concentrate on the paperback version.
