It actually disappoints me when I meet a white person who is oblivious to their own history.

Its no wonder so many of them are aimless if they dont know anyhting about where they have come from, how the hell they going to know where they are going to?

May sound daft but actually makes sense and sense is what these people lack but i fear its too late for some people.

No doubt he is also a job dodger too who spends his job seekers allownace on beer and the bookies with what he may have left.

Let's put it into perspective. There are plenty more 21-50 year olds who get pissed at weekends and try and cave someone's head in after they've had a few than there are 18-21 year old students pissing up war memorials.

I just can't seem to get overly worked up over this. Make him pay for the clean up and send him on his way.

Maybe you can't get worked up over it Sam, but you come from a younger age group.
In my day, many policemen would have dished out "an on the spot fine" and by so doing would have dispensed with all the red tape and paper work.Back then there was still some respect for the police. Worse still you might have been brought home and your parents would have dealt with you.

War Memorials may only be bits of concrete or stone but they were put there to remember those who died in conflict defending this country, and to desecrate them in anyway shows a total lack of respect.

Are we the only country that holds Remembrance Sunday ? I can imagine many commonwealth countries still do and maybe some of the allied countries
but what of Germany,Austria and all.
