So there is this company.

It's not really clear as to whether they are solicitors or not but they have jumped on the "speculative invoicing" band wagon. You know GM and ACS:Law style.

Problem is they are trading illegally.

The law states that they have to display a contact address. I don't see one at all. Anywhere. Not even on whois.

You can log on to your case except the SSL certificate expired on Sunday 18 April 2010. That will be a DPA problem.

Of the directors of the said company (easy to find out as all directors of companies have to be registered), none appear to have a license to operate as a credit enforcement agency. That might be a bit of a problem wouldn't you say?

It would appear that this ever so slightly dodgy. Well it does to me.

And who are these Directors?

Well, a porn star "legend" / producer and his wife (also a "legend") was company Secretary for a time. Both have done bird for selling illegal porn.

Operating in this way will get you a prosecution for ?Criminal Contempt of Court?, which in England?s Crown Court carries up to two years of obsessively trying to avoid dropping the soap in the showers. And thats if they are a legal bona fide company!! Not to mention the DPA fine.

Don't ya just love the UK porn industry?
