As far as I know, it was a deal between Polanski and the prosecutor. Polanski pleaded guilty to 'unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor' and the prosecutor dropped the charge of rape.

You may be right Tel. I may have to watch it again, it's worth it just to see Emmanuelle Seigner, man she was fit in that movie- but back to the pissing, I just dont remember that bit, there was some kinky stuff going on toward the end...but no watersports, maybe that was wishful thinking on your part...lol

Hugh Grant was in Bitter Moon and the female lead - Emmanuelle Seigneur - is/was Polanski's wife.
