Escorts doing bare back earn more than escorts using condoms but who would people rather be with health wise? porn is no different... certs are worthless pieces of paper most of the time so condoms even though not perfect can protect actors/actresses that tiny bit more.
Producers don't really care about the health of their models as long as the films get made so its up to the models to insist on protection if they want it or not work for them, like monthly tests condoms will be part of the industry in the near future if we like it or not.
Even though we get our certs on a regular basis we wouldn't dare go bare back & feel sorry for other people being forced into it by producers who feel its the only way to sell their product by risking the health of their actors/actresses.

If the industry went condom only & the producers wanted to pay you less it would only force peole into producing their own films which in turn would flood the market still lowering the earnings. And if the producers didn't give a shit on their actors health they wouldn't be worth working for anyway.
If we dismiss condoms we might as well chuck monthly certs as well if money is more important, some of us in the industry do really care about health & others play at it.

They do already dont they? Th e real problem is the business has inflated so much and brought in the rsik of stds at least a hundred fold.

This means that the pool of regualr performers now include the kind of people who odnt know forums like this exist and quite happily thinking about shagging their favourite model who might also be crossing over to escorting and doing parties.

The responsibility of performers actions should not rest with the producers. it should begin with themselves. They have to be adult to make the decision to comeinto this lifestyle therefore they should treat themselves with abit more respect and their peers second to that and if I may be so bold, why should producers care about the lifestyles of performers who dont care about themselves?

You say producers dont care but depsite the flack we get, UKAP have set up a forum for models to discuss areas of the business that they are at risk with and we spear headed a campaign that failed to bring about an AIM system to the UK which collapsed due to lack of support.

There are a lot of producers who are concerned but it seems many performers still flagrantly flout the rules and do anything to make their money so lets call a spade a spade here ok?

The way i see it, performers shoukld see their tests as a licence to work and treat that license in much the same way an athlete treats their body for sports events.

If performers got tested and worked exclusively with other performers who only worked within a circle of the porn industry and not engage random outsiders on nights out then the risk of STDs would be dramatically reduced.

It might even cease to exist within porn.

Its reckless behaviour that is the root cause of these health issues. Not producers.

Producers are not mums and dads to these performers and any respect arising is simply out of familiarity which is why producers were quick to act and inform upon being informed ourselves of another performer caught bucking the system

You seem to have it in for producers Kim but maybe if you joined forces with us then maybe we could make good of this without having to resort to this internal bickering us producers seem to have with each other after all we are all in the same game whether we like it or not.

UKAP came into being for that same reason that it was always producers coming under attack for these issues and no one wanted to comment because they felt they were not the ones to answer for everyone else or they simply dont feel guilty of the allegations levelled at them as producers.

Its quite simple. You book someone. They agree to do the job. Producers dont force anyone to do anyhting unless you mean producers get abusive about agirl wanting to use condoms.

Should I then perhaps show support and insist on couples using condoms?!

These days producers are people just like yourself who have sprung from amateur roots and not that much different from yourself in status and what not

Models are producers doing content shares. Fred in the shed types can all be considered producers. May not be to the extent of say Harmony or Private but still produce nonetheless so perhaps what you should say is the very industry doesnt care because it seems models are producers these days too.

They could very well be the same faceless people that frequent and populate this forum looking for girls wanting to do POV hj, bj etc so maybe its everyone around here that doesnt care seeing that no t many around here have done anything to ease the std situation in the business by supporting condom use.

I hope not Clare but it would be very interesting to see how the UK handles it compared the the US as I remeber the panic that set in years ago when we had the 40 day testing implemented almost immediately.

Its just a shame it had to come to that.

Mark my words, if there is an outbreak in the UK people will be truning up en masse demanding change and then screaming why it never happened in the first place.
