Most disgusting are nipple piercings. I own an American DVD with black girls (at the moment I am too lazy to go upstairs and look for the title). I don't disagree that shallowness is irritating, but there's no end of niches. Plus, with celluloid there's always going to be superficiality. Nobody makes adult films because it's a good opening for comedy or lengthy discussions about the meaning of life (there was a French film once with the line 'would you like to fill my existential void of despair?' to which the guy answered 'yeah, sure': two birds with one stone).

Degrading and treating women like rubbish is definitely not sexy - but I don't think it's fair to suggest that represents the majority of films etc. Probably the opposite: the women are the ones being admired, for better or worse. And there are still plenty of actresses/actors who are sexy in the best way possible: they're smart, they're entertaining and they're passionate.
