Speaking from experience, you don't know how evil cannabis is until you stop smoking it.
I agree it's less harmful than alcohol, but that doesn't mean it should be legalised.

It's not the cannabis per se that is the problem, it's the lifestyle that usually accompanies it - and the slippery slope. If it weren't for other drugs, cannabis would probably have been legalised years ago, but now it likely never will be in the UK or most of the rest of the world. In Japan they smoke like chimneys, but get found with one joint and you'll go down for a year or two - they still practice zero tolerance for all drugs.

Tobacco is the 'gateway' drug isn't it ?
