Boxing is the greatest sport. But also the toughest. In boxing there is no where to hide - and if you are chinny, you will get found out.
Khan is a good amateur, where they dont concentrate on power shots. But when it come sto the pros, your opponent has up to 12 x 3 min rounds to knock you out.
If you are chinny, as Mr Khan def is (hell the jab rocked him, and Gomez, a light puncher himself, had Khan down) then you are in the wrong game.
Khan says he wants to be a great. Its a shame there never has been a great fighter with a chin of glass!
Amir Khan - Ouch!
Re: Amir Khan - Ouch!
Amir Khan is a good fighter but he has no chin any top featherweight out there would destroy him even no hes a lightweight no chin no champ i dont think he can make it on the world stage
Re: Amir Khan - Ouch!
Its also funny that the ref let Amir go on after the 1st knockdown even though he was clearly in no position to defend himself. Yet in his previous fight the ref stopped Gomez (who I had money on) who was not in as much trouble and had floored Khan himself.
I hate Frank Warren - he is terrible for boxing, badly manages his fighters, puts pressure on refs and officials and all that jazz.
I met him once when I was making a documentary about boxing and he was very unpleasent.
