It does when the man in question is held by a billion people to be God's Prophet. Everything Mohammed did was good as far as they are concerned. Muslims can't criticise Mohammed, so if he had a child bride, several wives or owned slaves, then they have to accept that fact. He could do no wrong, therefore it is not wrong to do these things. Note, not "not wrong" then, but "not wrong" now, or ever.

We have all been ruled by religion since day one e.g pubs, shops opening times & holidays & in Islamic eyes our western religions has its faults as well. Its wrong to slate a religion & in a time when America are on a hate a muslim campaign yes certain censorships have to come into action from goverments to protect ethnic people. My Uncles wife & family are muslim and suffer from abuse & people spitting at them in Ilford just because of the colour of their skin, because crazy arseholes like Bush & his father these people do live in fear & the only thing they have left intact e.g. their religion which is under attack from the west & this forum it seems. Over the years i have helped the police break up Paedophile rings (one from inside the industry itself) so i would not think twice to shop anyone if i thought kids were in danger but to slate an Holy figure who as been dead for years is very sad. We tend to overlook the way a lot Catholic priests are allowed to be kiddy fiddlers & its covered up by the church to protect their own. All religions have or have had a dark side & like us Islamic people choose to look after their children & protect them from Paedophiles in the west or east.
So to answer your question is it censorship by fear or because we fail to have respect for anyone but ourselves.
