I remember that too, Trumpty, he performed his 'Man Alive' set and was way too surreal, sharp and off-centre for a lot of them -it made me both laugh and cringe: laughing at the fact the celebs were stumped, cringing at the fact that his audience didn't 'get it' when he deserved applause.

However, the same can be said of Vic and Bob, also waaaaaay leftfield, in Shooting Stars, where part of the comedy is derived from the fact that the celeb in question doesn't quite get the gag.

At the Montreal Comedy Festival in 1992 (I think) came on to the stage to be received by total silence from the audience, did their act to total silence and came off to the sound of their own footsteps.

If you watch this scene on DVD the laughter has in fact been added on after the event.

Its all PC non offensive shite. And if I see that Johnny Depp rip off, talentless bentshot bastard Russell Brand or fucking hear the cunt, I`m buying a gun and doing the world a favour.

Bukkake shots where you are with a few other guys...is fucking gay.

In fact, about pulling trains with a woman...you wanna have sex with other guys and mix your sperm with theirs...you're just using a woman as a conduit.

Got to agree with you both that Vic/Bob, Harry (and Spike as I mention
below) can be so leftfield that not all of there stuff works. But what does
hit the spot is a million times better than anything from the likes of
booky wooky brand etc

"Scrubs".

Cast, script and filming all as slick as it gets, with a childish heart. It always makes me smile, even when it's too goopy.
