Still to this day seem the most talked about band whenever you go on other forums.
I personally think they revitalised a dying music scene and set a benchmark for all guitar based bands that still hasnt been reached to this day!!
Definetely maybe and morning glory easily the greatest 2 albums of the 90`s! surely??

Says it all.

I know that Pulp's Different Class album has the ever popular anthem Common People but, personally, I find that the album prior to it, His 'N' Hers to be far superior.
Oasis v Blur, no contest really. Oasis's Definately Maybe and (What's The Story) Morning Glory? were superb, admitedly, everything thereafter was drivel. I do have Parklife by Blur but, was very disappointed to find only three decent tracks on it - Girls & Boys, Parklife & This is a low. A workmate let me borrow the earlier Blur albums - don't bother with them it really isn't worth it.

His n Hers is a fantastic album. 'Pink Glove' is the best track, IMO.

I wholeheartedly agree, I don't think there is really a bad track on the album but, I tend to lean towards Babies as being my favourite !happy!

They were exactly what was needed at that time. Simply fantastic. I still listen to Definitely Maybe now. And do you know any other band over the past 30 years (maybe more) that has two albums worth of b-side tracks that were just as good as the released stuff? (a lot of the b-side stuff was better in my opinion).
