I wouldl ike you all to know (and this IS true) that Jimslip used to be the lighting designer for The Sooty Stage Extravaganza. He toured around the UK with Sooty et al. Jim says that Sooty was a bastard and Sue was a diva off stage. The pinnacle of his career (jim's not Sootys) was Sooty's Circus staged at the Mayfair Theatre in 1982.

However, he killed the illusion for many a child when the U.V lights went out and all the kids saw the men moving the puppets around.
