Even if that last one was to go into law it wouldn't stop the flow of illegal guns AND the people who want them. I recall an oldschool rap song made in the late 1980s by KRS 1 with the phrase "illegal business controls america".

What facts do they need other than 33 innocent people SHOT dead.

He did it for whatever reason, fact.

Well you know, try to figure what was the cause of why he did it and how to prevent this from happening in the future. I 'm with you on it though. I'm not sure you could prevent something like this no matter what the reason. People snap they say but he apparently had his plan well thought out.

I just think they are sitting on the fence again with the "no futher comment" remark.

In the end it will just be the same old "it's not the gun it's the person who uses it" statement.
It just seems to me they have this attitude of oh well it happens so what.

Well I've said that myself. But I've said yesterday that with all the gun laws we have here in Chicago IT DIDN'T STOP THE KILLING yet? Illegal guns?

You're right c.j. People do snap. Don't matter if you're a student or professor, we all have bad days, and some people think killing is some sort of justice.

Making guns illegal won't stop people getting hold of them if they really wanted to, but if they were illegal then maybe this guy would have calmed down by the time he found someone who sold him a weapon. At the moment, the current laws in most states just make it too easy for a guy to 'snap' and go on a killing spree.

Yeah. It would be a deterent but the news here is he had been planning it which would probably give him time to find him a gun and the way it looks he didn't have friends who could get him one.
