Has anyone written this yet? (I'm not offering!)

It would be nice to have a complete book or website that plots the main legal and artistic points of reference in the industry.

In the early days of British Porn dirty old men in raincoats would visit a seedy soho cinema take of their raincoats place them on their laps and spank the monkey beneath them, i know because i have seen them !cool!

There is a load of books in the BGAFD Library (nnder the Miscellany section), there might be something less 'Carry On'.

I actually think that would make for interesting reading and better still, if everybody came into this industry having read that book as Spanky put it it may even elevate the industry that bit more.

Did you know that the BBFC used to allow 16 year old models because it was the legal age of consent but moved it to 18 in accordance with its legistlation? Ah thought not....Theres lots of good stuff back there in the 70's..Dont foget the Gold Brothers (Mr Goldfinger) David Sullivan and Mary Millington..Yo Mike Freeman in the house! Early days pre-Ben Dover...I'm sure there are even more interesting things ifwe go way back.

I think it could make an interesting book, especially if it goes back in the days when gangsters were behind it.

I'm pretty sure that the first appearances of Lu Varley and Debbie Ashbie, and others in Men Only back in the late 70s early 80s, though by no means hard core obviously, were of them at 16+, and definately under 18.
