Nice to hear a favorable reference to Little Feat! I have a station devoted to them on Pandora. Steely Dan was also a great group, & I have been known to 'listen to the music' a time or 2....quaffed many a Bud to 'Black Water' on the jukebox in a low dive in Macon, Georgia, back in the day.....

I don't think anyone is buying that "Lennon plus three passengers" line about The Beatles anymore. Whatever the relationship, they both brought out the best in each others ability. You only need to hear the indulgent guff that made up large chunks of Lennon's solo output for evidence.
