Re: Laptop or Desktop?
Excellent assessment, Sam.
I was pondering the same dilemma as The Brutal Truth; however, keyboard issues aside, surely a laptop is as configurable as a desktop via the 5th miracle of Jesus that is USB?
Cracking deal at PC World just now folks.
320Gb external hard drive- ?80.
All that i need to get my photos and music across, music being an extra pain in the arse as I run it off three programs:
ITunes (pile of W*nk) for the nano;
SonicStage, for the Sony mp3 player;
Windows Media Player for my 'master music files, to run through 5.1.
Is there any way I can integrate my music into one massive colllection, instead of three big 'sub-collections' for each of the above?
Music formats are doing my nut in- .wma and .mp3, yeah.
atrac and .aac are compressed better, but not universally used.
Gawd.
