It has always seemed to me that of all the things for which a government could and does deprive you of your liberty, anything to do with pornography (except under-age participants), is the most stupid and intrusive. And before you ask, Jacques, I have signed the petition. Is the new one intended to deprive us of all our porn? As that would be a severe test of rights to the free exchange of information and an absolute infringement of our privacy, (which is why the state of affairs since 2000 has prevailed), I doubt if even the Rev Blair, or his successor Parson Brown, could get away with it. I hope.

Given that a legal decision brought about the partial relaxation in 2000, they can't.

Hang on though, when has New Labour been concerned with acting legally...(allegedly!)
