You knew these people as people whereas i have the benefit of being able to make sweeping statements such as the one i made earlier. Dont get me wrong i stand by what i said.. the amount of indiviuals such as you have described i have the dubious honour of working with and your story isnt something unsual as theres always smackheads gonig to be giving up (and who arent junkies just giro users there not the same according to them)

Why say youre friend had a drink problem when you retract it later is it that its seems more like he was a victim because the poor chap didnt know what he was donig because he was pissed? given a choice of of having to keep one of these groups i'd plum for the smackhead give them their gear and they happy little gauched out wastes of space, pissheads on the other hand are more trouble being aggressive and anti social. But as i said earlier i'd prefer them all just to drop dead and spare everyone else the grief they cause.

negative qualities? my what a utopia we would have why would i ever need to work when all i need to do is be a skank head, free drugs (but hang on taxes pay for all that but of course that would be other people doing that) loads of health care for all those other health problems.

All we would be doing is keeping these dreggs alive and in the lap of luxury while everyone else has to suffer because of it. retirement at 68 to try and ensure theres a pension so whats the harm in making it 70 to make sure your neighbourhood smackheads ok

How about buying some boys and girls from those 3rd world countries for any kiddie fiddler out there after all it would keep him out of trouble as well.

Like I've previously stated: Lots of youths are becoming addicted to heroin purposely, as they will then be classed as unemployable and able to claim sickness benefit, and aren't required to look for work.

Free heroin will just make this choice easier for them, and I cannot see why a person needing a hip replacement would have to sit on a waiting list while thousands of smack heads are popping to the doctors/hospital daily for their 'free hit'.......while the tax payer foots the bill.

It isn't societies problem that some people actively seek out 'illegal' substances, to become addicted & unemployable, only for society then to shelter, feed, clothe, and feed their habit.

I've had 2 friends die of heroin, but have many more friends who've never touched the stuff. The ones that died made a choice, and paid for it. It's not like they have no choice in the matter. Even if it was youthful curiosity, why go back the second & third time, knowing full well that it could lead to dependency?

No......society shouldn't pay for their choices, at least not to the extent of giving them free drugs.

There are plenty of empty islands all over the world, bung as many smackheads and as much heroin on it as you can, and let them destroy themselves so we don't have to suffer the pathetic lowlifes, there is no excuse for fucking drug addiction, everyone has free will, trust me I'm talking from many a bad expierience, including trying to get a so called mate off that junk. If they want to give it away free, do it out of the fucking way of people who choose not to live there lives in oblivion like these weak cunts, I despise drugs in every way, giving it away free will still never be enough, you'll have a army of smacked up nutters roaming the country, then it'll be "Heroin users rights" and god knows what else, druggies are selfish cunts only interested in themselves, and what's more they do it around there kids half the time who don't have a choice in what they grow up seeing, so it ends up a vicious circle. I see it all the time sadly, some peoples lives are a lot worse than these "poor smackheads" and they don't stick a needle in there arm or chase the dragon, as for drug related crime, you'll get them claiming deminished responsibility when they rape some old lady, because they were off there face at the time, it's just like everything else with this wanky pc gone fucking mad country, a softer option, everything the goverment do is half arsed. !thumbsdown!

As for moral judgements, you would be correct if the drugs in question were of equal potency, and had equal effects & dangers. From my experience this isn't the case, and because of this, heroin needs a different approach than alcohol.

The difference is Warren, that booze is not illegal, unless you have done heroin you can not imagine how addictive it is, and the more you have the more you want, so giving people small amount of H is going to do nothing but prolong the addicts needs, they will simply take the free stuff and carry on blagging the illegal stuff, for which there will always be a market unless it is made completely legal...a heroin user doesn, t do 'short measures, believe me.

With the greatest of respect warren while i appreciate the fact that you are willing to try and justify your argument it just just pains me that it isnt based based in any form of reality about what drugs are and what they do.

Yuore right about some member sof the police saying itshould be legalised i imagine there would be far more support for my more extreme solution if there was a choice of the 2 (mine was to float the market with spiked gear so kill em off)

As has been mentioned if they want to do it let em but on some desolate island somewhere where they can drop dear without being a burden to anyone.
