Sorry to but in guys but why the argument on who/what kills people? You're both right and wrong at the same time as it's kinda a joint effort.
In a court of law it would be the free thinking, self aware, 'ape' who pointed the gun, and pulled the trigger, that would be deemed as the 'killer'.
The coroner on the other hand would blame the lack of oxygen to the brain, which was caused by loss of blood, which was caused by a bullet ripping through the aorta, which was cased by the firing of a gun, which was caused by a trigger being pulled etc etc etc.
Sorry for the obvious details. I just thought this branch of the argument wasn't really going anywhere.
If you put a gun to my head -arf arf- I'd say people kill people. The gun/bullet is just a tool that knows not what it was designed for.

If so, it's entirly irrelevent to the current conversation, not to mention totally offensive.
