The "left right wing" dichotomy is confusing description as you will learn that the Labcon party or the Conlab party, for example, contains both right and left MPs!
The true polarities of politics are authoritarianism and libertarianism.

Two historical examples are the NASDP (Nazi Party) and the Communist Party of Stalin's Russia. One extreme right the other extreme left. Both were extreme authoritarian and totalitarian.

In the 'early' eighties when there was no work, and I mean no work, all of us lads went abroad to earn some money, Europe, The Middlle East, South Africa, etc. and one thing used to amuse/annoy me when I came back was always the Socialist Worker flogging his propaganda sheet in the center of town, I would then proceed to ask said invidual in what line of work were they employed? They always and I mean always replied, "Oh! I'm at college, Mate. Really, what are you studying? Sociology, they would reply.
I never met one of those sorts on a construction site in my life, but I met quite a few at parties where inevitably they would chore all the booze, dope, drugs and bore every f*****r senseless with their predictions for the future while trying to sleaze round somebodies bird.
