Whats the best TV programme ever made?

I agree that most US sitcoms are pretty bad, but Seinfeld and Curb your Enthusaism are the exception to this for me.

The jokes are subtle unlike most US sitcoms were they are pretty crude and far too obvious.

People who don't like Seinfeld have either seen about 2 episodes and assume it's the same as all other US sitcoms...(it most definitly is NOT!)....or have no taste...sorry, that's a fact.


Seinfeld...Rising Damp....The Avengers...The Prisoner...Catweazle...Dr Who....

....but Number 1? .....mmmm....Xena:Warrior Princess...no question.

"Seinfeld" has been on repeats here ad nauseum; only episode I've seen, out of curiosity, was the one where the group makes a bet as who can go longest w/out masturbating.But the N.Y.C. media loved it of course because it is all about New york--very parochial bunch.

I like some of the Fox sitcoms--"Malcom In the Middle", the cartoons like "Family Guy", & of course, "Married With Children", which as an added bonus had a past & a future porn actress. I haven't watched The Big Three networks in years, other than sports.
