I hated him before the world cup and i'm a United fan. He's so overrated as a player and i think he's shite. He takes far to long on the ball doing stupid flicks and tricks its annoying, people used to say he would grow out of it when he first joined but he's still doing it now 3 years later. I wouldn't be suprised if he was part of the reason Ruud asked to leave due to no balls being played into him like Beckham used to do. Not suggesting any UEFA shenanigans, but it's rather strange that we have ended up in the same qualifying group as the two World Cup finalists and one of the quarter-finalists, while England have a real tough group----up against the might of Andorra.

But the fact is that we don't have any world-class players and must do our best with team spirit. Given the Old Firm's continued reliance on foreign players, the outlook for our international team is still rather grim. Walter Smith will do the best job he can, adn the players he pick will do their best, but we are just not producing high quality footballers and will suffer as a result.
