Bitter Moon (Polanski, 1992)
Re: underated films.
Frenzy (Hitchcock 1972). His last good film IMO.
Re: underated films.
Manhunter - the original Hannibal Lecter movie, based on the first book and starring Brian Cox as an infinitely more laidback and menacing serial killer than Antony Hopkins.

I must agree this was a classic film and very under rated IMHO. Barry Foster was excellent as the serial killing tie strangler who set his 'mate' up and then grassed him to the law.

Re: underated films.
It got a lot of stick for the graphic rape scene.
Another case of Hitch pushing the boundaries.

Re: underated films.
Yeah the rape and murder of Barbara Leigh Hunt was very nasty, but extremely well done.
That scene was censored in Britain until the 2001 uncut DVD release.

Juggernaut..the Richard Harris/Anthony Hopkins 1970s movie. Hopkins clearly on the way up..but its Roy Kinnear's finest moment; and Cyril Cusack does a five minute cameo and leaves your jaw sagging.
