Is there anybody else in the kingdom who is totally pissed off with this bloody moronic world cup?
An excuse for idiots to get pissed and behave like animals, all because they are 'supporting' Ingerland.
The sooner they get kicked out and sent home the better. But then we'll have to put up with pictures of crying adults, (smudging their St George crosses on their faces with tears) in the tabloids.
And as for the pathetic WAGS. Stupid. Simply stupid. Brainless bimbos.
I like this article from the Guardian other week.

WORLD CUP: Sick of it.
Re: WORLD CUP: Sick of it.
Yes but only cos my man never misses a game. It wouldn't matter if England got knocked out or not he'll still watch it.

I'm sorry you feel that way. I love it! Only come's round every 4 years and I'd watch it even if England were in it or not.

its on telly a lot too.
Re: WORLD CUP: Sick of it.
If you don't like football fair enough. Personally the Olympics isn't that interesting to watch for me despite the appeal of certain events, yet that will be everywhere and I accept that. Same with Wimbledon which involves rescheduling of things I might watch....
Learn to live with it, because if we actually win a major event no doubt you'll be enjoying whatever benefits it brings too. To be fair its down to 2 matches a day now and will be down to 1 soon so its not exactly 24/7.
Personally, i think its nice to see something uniting people and evoking some kind of passion - remember "behaving like animals" is the minority and I never see anything like that, the news is bound to highlight certain things but as another thread on here said - the English fans are nowhere near the worst.
Finally, as for the WAG's ...what gives you the right to be so judgmental? Don't believe everything you see on Footballer's Wives. If you're vested interest in a sport was through a relative you would probably be making the most of being around similar people in a similar situation and enjoying the foreign sights/shopping.

Wimbledon bores the tit's off me (though I enjoy calling Henman a bumhammer), I just watch something else. No big problem.

Re: WORLD CUP: Sick of it.
sorry loved all of it
met some top people out there from all races, came back to see some crap in the media about hassle, saw none, even though there was some in Stuttgart over the last couple of days but nothing major
the reality is that in germany it's a big party, we drove through Stuttgart just after they won the opening game with our cars decked in flags
all we got was thumbs up, waves and beeps from the celebrating germans, and we responded in kind, top fun
watched the game in a pub tonite and heard the first racist chanting in nearly three weeks, welcome back to england, sad
