Heard this rumour about John years ago, but he still churns out his movies so I doubt if it is true. The bit about Rocco is a new one and probably a malicious rumour. The geezer wasn't selling you any porn and thought 'if I give him a line along the lines of these two gents nearing the end of their lives, this fool may buy something'.

Its true that buttman has HIV and its also true that he thinks he caught it in Brazil. However i dont think Rocco has the infection.

Correct - first read that John Stagliano had HIV in Linzi Drew's column in Knave.

Would be surprised if Rocco had it. He did a mainstream movie, Romance, with hardcore in it and they would certainly have had him tested. Stagliano has it.

John Stagliano has HIV, and is not dying of AIDS. The attitude of the person who told you this is so typical. A lot of people may get HIV and live relatively healthy lives for many years before developing AIDS.
John's partner Tricia Devereaux is also HIV positive, and I read in RAME that they recently had a perfectly healthy baby together.

I have read plenty of vicious rumours about Rocco, suffice to say that as far as I know he is in good nick. However, given the fact that he is working in porn without condoms, as the majority do, he is still leaving himself at risk of other STDs, some of which are very hard to detect until they cause problems. That's the risk you take, and I would hope that pornstars are tested for more than just HIV, particularly if they are having unprotected sex outside the industry.
