Crouch gets in the England team because he plays for a big club. Ditto for Walcott. End of Story. If either of them played for the likes of Charlton or Bolton they'd have no chance.

Robbie Keane's celebrations make me cringe.......not as bad as Heskey's 'DJing' one he did when he was at Liverpool though.

Heskey done a beauty in the England 5-1 rout of the Hun.

He scored his goal, wheeled off to the sideline and, doing some 'air-golf', he pretended to have putter in hand and motioned as if he were performing a two-inch putt!!!!

Class!

I thought it was the 'cricket bat' celebration. Taking the piss out of the 'cricket score' we did over them......

Aaaaah, now I see, it all makes sense!!!!

The Germans wouldn't have got that one though.........not only through stereotypical lack of humour but via 'vot is ze kriket?'.

Actually, does Germany have any national self-invented sports apart from snuff-inhaling, annexing smaller, less capable neighbours !adolf! and anything generally featured on Eurotrash?

I could be totally wrong fudgeflaps but I thought I heard -from my sports science days- that Germanys 1st adopted sport was gymnastics. Not sure if they actually 'invented' it as such, but Germany was conscidered the 'spiritual home' of gymnastics in the late 1800's.

Just a bit of useless info for everyone...... !laugh!
