I've read that he evades paying income tax in Switzerland as he doesn't work there (ban on motorsport) . But amongst all this healthy debate (arguing and bickering) on how "great" a driver he is or is not , all the ones that dislike him have missed one point , same as the rest of us he'll die , probably in a fireball like a few before !sick!. I don't mean that in anyway disrepectful or wishful thinking , i'm pretty middle of the road with it (no pun' honest) I ain't watched a GP for ages and saw most of "the action packed" race on sunday , what were the pair of comentators watching ? It was late on when the first car pulled up with an engine blow out . JJ .

Don't know/care if Schumi is a cheat or not but I wonder how many of those complaining about him cheating in order to win would complain so much if an England player 'dives' to win a penalty that wins a match in the WC?, we all know that this does/will happen & the 'diver' will be hailed as a hero, remember Owen's famous dive?

Fair point but the Owen has not made a habit of it - but based upon Schumacher's past (Hill, Couthard, Villeneuve, Hakkinen, Barichello, Alonso and even his own brother) he does seem to have a Gollum complex "my precious, my precious, must win at all costs".

The nasty thing about Schumi is that he will actually take another driver out of the race to stop him winning, if it suits his purpose. I don't know if drivers were more chivalrous in the past, or maybe this didn't happen because the cars had no safety features, and would tend to explode when crashed. Schumi certainly seems to have taken advantage of the greater safety of modern cars to push the envelope of cheating, and I'm glad the judges at Monaco finally did something about it.

By the way, "little Englander" must be the tiredest of tired cliches by now, and I fail to see how, if Schumi is a) arrogant and b) German it is somehow wrong to call him an arrogant German. Still, I won't get too bothered about the comments of someone called Rasputin, look how he ended up, the mad Russian...oops, sorry.
