Very cheap countries to emigrate to

Eastern Europe is cheap and with more countries coming into the EU it would be relatively easy to settle there.
I fancy teaching English in the far east but I would have to avoid China. As an adult webmaster I would be jailed for life.

According to yesterday's Guardian, Estonia's the place of the moment. A bit chilly in winter though, so make sure your yurt's well insulated.

And it's in the EU: no visa required.

Croatia is further south and next up for the EU. Maybe not dirt cheap but the coast is supposed to be very attractive.

The problem with all these various cheap places is that you still have to try and earn a crust when you are there and in most cases in a foreign lingo. OK if you're a chippy or a plumber but slightly more difficult if you are a pornographer.

Yawn! Yet another ugly little post and another blinding insight.

1. Commit a minor offence that somehow impacts on the USA without even setting foot in the country. In fact it doesn't even have to be an offence under British law e.g. put a few finest Havanas up for auction on Ebay.

2. Due to their expanding extraterritorial fascism an extradition warrant can be served in the UK without even any primae facae evidence. Note: evidence is required for extradition from the USA of course!

3. The British courts / Home Office have either no power or no desire to interfere in your case. I'm actually ashamed how a once proud nation willingly bends over and allows itself to be well and truly rodgered up the rear by Dubya and co.

4. A free flight - If you don't mind being uncomfortably close to a couple of US Marshals.

5. Straight through immigration with no visa hassle as you a guest of Uncle Sam. You can even admit to being a raving communist or Bin Ladens best budy as they really want you as a 'guest'.

6. You will be appointed a public defender who is basically an incompetent bum. The aforementioned bum will effectively sit back and watch as you receive a totally disproportionate jail sentence of say 120 years.

7. You now have a happy retirement in the Federal Pen with board and lodgings provided free of charge. If you are really lucky there may even be a sea view i.e. Alcatraz.

Just make sure you take a soap on a rope or two!
