some of my friends work in medical research, not on this drug, but we have discussed the pros and cons of this
The drug in question is NOT approved for use in the UK, it has to go through some more approvals (first) but it has passed US FDA approval
this means it can be given in the UK but not on the NHS, hence all the crap
It could be a good drug but again the media start shouting 'wonder drug' , utter shite, the problem is that managers make the decision not the doctors on medical grounds
