The whale in the Thames

I got the ?100,000 figure from a very reliable source the News Of The World!shocked! and i have just been listening on the radio to the person who was leading the rescue attemt and he admitted that this whale was very sick and there was very little chance of it surviving, so was it the kindest thing to do by attemting to save it and giving it more stress or just leaveing it alone to die naturally, forget about the ?100,000 thats nothing OEJ made more than that from his last film!furious!

the resue attempt did not cost 100k and as of 5 live this morning who kindly attempted to answer the morons quibling about money broke it down. all the helpers were volunters as stated every other second on sky live coverage. the boats belonged to charity orgs so even they cost sweet fuck all and the barge was donated by the city of london. the captain and 2 crew on board offered their services free in line with the spirit of the occasion so the only cost was the fuel used by the barge which has now been covered by the fund set in place this morning by 5 live to which i gave ?100. so the grand cost to the tax payer is the same as if the fucking whale had stopped in the north sea, the square root of FUCK ALL.

We all feel sad when a large creature dies but chances are if there had been no rescue attempt it would have died in the Thames and the media would have a field day filming it's dead carcass being towed away much to the horror of the younger viewers.
What to do with the dead body though? suggestion that its skeleton is displayed in Natural History Museum seems quite good, perhaps it's blubber, oil etc could be harvested to pay for exhibit. Not meant as a callous remark just a practical one.
