Brothers & Sisters, it's that time of month when I bleed thru the eyes with total karmic rage at the state of sport in the UK.

Firstly, Henman is such a prick.
I was sick of all the turds that kept saying this could be his year...

HAH LIKE FUCKING BOLLOCKS!

He will never win Wimbledon ever cos he's shit, just like the last Brit hopeful, Jeremy Bates or whatever his name was.

Look, there are only 2 things you are gauranteed during a Brit tennis career:

1) A fit looking bird/wife/partner
2) Doind ads for Daz, Persil or Soapy tit wank cream.


The only sport that gets on my tits more than tennis, is football.
I fucking hate what footy has become.
Whatever happened to 'the love of the game'?

What happened to 'Player club loyalty'?

Now it's all about slack jawed, coke snorting, Biffa Bacon looking fat girls driving around in flashy cars and fucking the latest attention whore and then bragging about their wage packets.
Fucking illiterate halfwits.

I wish to god this country would invest in other sports.
It sickens me to know that we have some of the finest Tae Kwon Do exponents in the world, yet even they don't get the financial aid they deserve and have to pay their own way to even get to the Olympics!
Fair enough, I didn't make the team last year but I spent a fucking fortune training up for it and what did I get? Fuck all help.

All we harp on about, is football, rugby & cricket and we suck at those too.

We don't train them properly.
We don't invest in sport enough, which is why we get beat by every backward paraplegic pigmy tribe at everything we do ever.
We boast when we beat Bangladesh.
That's like Bruce Lee kicking the shit out of a 10 year old and then saying "Did you see me defend his moves, man I rule."

To make matters worse, we brag about fucking tiddlywink championships!!!

The IOC will definately give us the Olympic games if only to let the world laugh it's bollocks off when we get beat on home soil by Bangladesh, Cameroon, The Amazon Pigmy high jumpers and the Cannibals of Borneo.

Can't fault you there, man.

There are a number of sports (and not just your beloved martial arts) that don't get proper financial backing because they don't have huge fan bases. Anytime someone does okay in a sport, it suddenly gains attention--- the curling, cycling teams in the last few games, and even modern pentathlon due to that very fit (in both meanings of the word) Steph Cooke. One whiff of success, and everyone's suddenly talking about it. The rest of the time, it's back to whichever multi-millionaire club's mercenaries beat another team in Accountancy Football.

I'm not a fan of Henman, but I feel rather sorry for the bloke that he's had the ridiculous expectations of a nation (fuelled by an ignorant media) to carry for the best part of a decade.

"Love of the game?" "Player club loyalty?" What have you been smoking? Those concepts went out with the ark. It's been win by any means and at all costs, and nothing else matters.

Football has become the very thing the Competitions Commission was created to prevent in business. Elitism.

There are a few exceptions, but most sport---and certainly professional sport---stinks.

The only 'sport' where a white man can dress like a black pimp and get away with it.

The media machine latches onto flavour of the month simply to milk it dry.
As for Henman, it's this desperate whoring of the media who forget that the best tennis player in the UK is the amongst the shittest in the world.

We'll see how well the football slags do when the new ruling comes into play.
What is it? Something like 8 Brit nationals per team?
Chelsea will be fucked harder than an anal virgin without any lubrication.

some realism apart from ranting would give your points more validity

ie. rugby - yes the Brits just lost a test but England are still world champions
cricket - we are still ranked as the number two test side in the world
tennis - Henman is in the top ten in the world
football - England is ranked in the top then in the world, and we have the Euro champions

if that makes us shit in your eyes then there is no pleasing some people, yes maybe we don't sponser some minor sports enough but to denigrate the whole of UK sport is pretty poor.

That's the thing dude, we are much better than this.
The fact is, there isn't enough investment going into sport schemes.

They keep banging on about the odd bit of lottery funding but in the grand scheme of things, it's like pocket money.

We need to build on the future of sport.

With the possibility of an Olympic stadium which will then become a giant sports Centre, you'd think we're on the right tracks, but give it time, and that sports centre will be like so many others around the country...a fucking school swimming bath with chavs hanging about outside.

We need to do what the Yanks have done and build huge fuck off coaching centres that aren't elitist.

We need to seriously offer kids a better alternative.
Boxing went up amongst kids a thousand fold after the last Olympics thanx to our home boy, but the problem is keeping those kids in.
Not just boxing, but any sport.


The only sport kids buy into, is footy cos they think they'll one day get to fuck Jordan.

Messr Blair & Banks are such shit cunts who soundbite the bollocked needs and musts of a Labour government that is backing sport.


Backing sport doesn't just mean going to a press junket and kicking a football into an open goal.
Bastards.

I'd love for them to come to the Tae Kwon Do club and get kitted up and then fucked up.

The joy has gone out of sport. We've had a number of situations at primary school football matches, even girls' games, where some pushy, over the top parent has threatened to beat the crap out of the referee. Kids standing around bewildered while their parents, attempting to live out their own dreams through their sproggs, scream and swear at officials. Is it any wonder that football has lost its way when it long ago lost its soul.

The American way of doing things is also fraught with peril. Stupid kids being helped through college on sports scholarships, while their teachers look the other way.

I see the rant that you are coming from, i'm a massive sports fan of all genres and have some special areas linked to my heart
my grandpa was scottish middleweight champ, my aunt played footy for jockland and I played semi pro cricket, I love sport

I agree we don't fund it enough but don't knock the people who have done bloody good things, getting to the top ten in the world should not be derided as ' Henman is shit'
