My favourite show for the last few years has been Alias. A show that's bit tricky to actually follow on UK TV.....first Sky, then Sky Mix...then not Sky at all...then C5...then C5 in the middle of the night...then Bravo...with loads of bits cut out!
So for the last two seasons a friend with broadband has been downloading all the latest eps just after they air in the States and sending them to me....no ads, no cuts.
It's utterly incomprehensible to me why 24 is so popular...at least in the UK...compared to Alias, which hasn't found a wider audience. I know when C5 first showed it they put it in some ridiculous slot...Sunday tea-time I think it was....so of course it was censored.
Apart from Alias.....Dr Who, as I mention on the other thread I love! I really enjoyed Hustle....was never a fan of Buffy, although I liked Angel a lot. I suppose the biggest fandom I ever had as for Xena:Warrior Princess......have I gone and destroyed my street cred now? LOL Don't care.....just love those action babes!!!
do you mind?
Re: do you mind?
Never understood the appeal of 24----formulaic rubbish, in my opinion.

24 is the best thing on at the moment, as it usually is. The appeal is the oldest one in the book - the need to know what happens next, something few dramas have cottoned on to of recent.
BTW - JJ Abrahms(?) the creator of Alias, which I've never seen, will be in charge of the next Mission: Impossible film.
