see there's three programmes on late tonight with a porn theme, including a rerun of "pornography the musical". the programme about the HIV scare in america last year might be interesting. there's also a rerun of "sex in the 70s".

Concluding Channel 4`s The Dark Side of Porn season. This is the story of Lolo Ferrari; the woman with the biggest breasts in the world. She was an international sex icon boasting a successful film and pop career, but behind the facade was Eve Valois; a young woman with a desperate need for attention. A tragic end to a tragic life came in March 2000 when Lolo was found dead, apparently of a drugs overdose. Suicide was blamed, but her mother refused to accept the verdict and two years later was granted a second autopsy. The cause of death was under question; the autopsy suggested she may have died from suffocation. Her husband and manager Eric Vigne (the man responsible for redesigning her face and body) was consequently arrested on suspicion of murder. A year later he was released with no charge. Now, five years on, the disturbing mystery surrounding her death can be explored. The programme features candid interviews with her mother, Catherine, her plastic surgeon, Marc, and her husband, Eric Vigne. I found it interesting that the producers and "Dr" Sharon Kane came to the conclusion that Gonzo (which was depicted as horrific on camera rape and humiliation) was the cause of the allied troops abusing prisoners in Iraq.

Thank goodness for companies such as Vivid, who are innocent of commiting rape and humiliation due to the fact that their product has a "story".

No mention of the fact that the male performer that caused the spread of HIV contracted it from a Transexual, but I guess that didn't fit in to their image of US porn, which is women driven into it because of childhood abuse and elderly male perverted producers that are out to commit rape legally.

It's interesting to hear these characters prattle on,as though it's all 'fun',nonsense,people are in this business to TRY to make money.But the real truth never comes out because the taxman & others watch these programmes,and then make one or two enquiries.

I admire the people that DON'T appear in these programmes,they are the clever ones-very,very discreet and go about their business unknown to the ordinary people in the street.

Too many snoopers around Im afraid.Im talking about the British side of the business,not the U.S.

The thing that does rather piss one off is that programmes like last nights angled viewing does nothing for the industry but take us back to witch hunting! UK tv is not interested in anything other than the welcome to the freak show angle so I?m never sure why people take part? There is another one tonight and I?m going in to Mystic Meg mode and concluding that there will be some dark seedy angle which will result in yet another WITCH HUNT. Yesterday I watched the Princess of sarcasm on C5 (Trisha) who interviewed another of our lurvly starlets (phoar) and even though the beauty held her own the editor did his bit to make it sleazy. It was kind of lights camera action and cut to old man wanking in the back. Then this advert for McDonalds came on and bang whoosh FCUKED.
Now I?m not to wild on Anna Span as my brain and pipin can?t function in the same room and my claim to greatness is she once told me to FCUK OFFSKI on camera but the girl does rather pick her TV appearances rather well. That is of course unless I?ve missed something in which case at least I?ve been told to FCUK OFF by the princess. Mind you come to think of it I have been told to fcuk off by a few princesses!

The defining moment for me was in 'Porn Shutdown' where Chi Chi LaRue, the porn industry insider sort said "Porn isn't about erotica (sex) anymore. Porn is now about out-grossing your competitors. Porn is now made for chortling college boys to sit around together going - Whoa! Far out dude! Just look what he's doing to her! Can you believe that?" Porn is now made for idiots.

I enjoyed the musical though.

Latest statistics for year 2003 show there were 10,983 heterosexual cases of HIV in the US That is less that 0.005% of the population.
