They get you all ways, these days it costs you ?1.50 at least before you've even moved 6 foot, if you ask them to go fasterthe meter trips up quicker. If you don't like paying for cabs then don't bloody use them. I think there might be an alternative called the tube, you'll find them underground in dark and hot tunnels, alright if your not claustrophobic.
