I totally agree. Being an arsehole is not dependent on creed or colour.

I've met some great white, asian, black people etc.

I've also met some arseholes from the same creed, colours and nationalities.

I do agree though with immigration and particularly the asylum problem that we have had in the last few years.

Do people genuinely expect someone who is a political refugee/migrant who has lived most if not all of their life in a (semi) lawless country to suddenly come into a (supposed) civilised and country and become a law abiding citizen?

Crime is the only thing most have known and it is the only way that some have survived. It is a little naive to think that they are just going to change overnight.

The problem is that as soon as I mention this in a pub the politically correct brigade brand me as a racist and a racist I am not.

That's a whole different argument; but a lot of the legends have him in Sherwood Forest and being a huge pain in the butt for the Sheriff of Nottingham.

One thing's for sure, having seen a programme about the castle, there's no way a group of outlaws would be able to wander in and out whenever they wanted.

Most of the stories that we know of, arose from ballads that spanned 100 years or so.
In this case, people say, "Well you can't believe it really, it's just folk lore."

Odd then that the same people believe the bible considering it was written over a much longer period.
