Shortly off for a weekend in Budapest with the lads.
Anyone know of any good bars / clubs / spots to go to.
Or any web sites to check out action.

on a side issue I was thinking of going out there to spend new year (I like to do something different each year)

My question is do they celebrate new year the same way we do or will everyone be off round to their mums for a cup of tea?

I think to say that to visit Budapest after the Millwall fiasco is approaching parania a little bit - I am sure they would still be as welcoming as always just be a good ambassador to the country as I am sure you will and you will be fine.

No specific "red light district" though the better clubs (in terms of good looking girls) are around the river near to all the bigger "American" hotels (Marriott, Hilton, etc) and the embassies. However they are not cheap!!!

If you want some "free" action the best place is on St Margaret's Island, though summer is a better time... lots of girls sunbathe topless and the woods at the western end of the island (furthest away from the bridge) is a well known "dogging" site.
