Surley it can only be the Pokemon movie soundtracks.

Come on....it's "The Wall!" That aside I'd go for "Purple Rain", "American Beauty" (The vibey instrumental parts especially) possibly "Twin Peaks" and "Detroit Rock City" which contains many great American rock anthems. Huge respect to "House Of A Thousand Corpses" especially the sinister, pulsing music which signals imminent craziness and the brilliant use of contrast where Otis is knifing Fishboy while Baby dances in the background to some upbeat 70s funk. Inspired!
