It is rather like getting on the Readers Digest mailing list, a lot easier to
get ON the mailing list than get off.
Some general rules.
Try to have more than one e-mail address, use one for friends and/or
business, use the other for surfing the web, updating forums etc.
Once you start getting too much spam on the 'other' e-mail account just
ditch it and move to another.
NEVER reply to a spam e-mail saying remove me from you mailing list. All
that does is verify it is a live e-mail address and so it becomes more
valuable.
Some e-mail systems allow you to set up 'rules' for incoming mail. You can
specify that anything that comes from this person can be put it a certain
folder (and ignored) or even deleted.
You could always send a note to his 'webmaster' ie webmaster@hisdomain
and say that the person is sending out spam. They may close the account.
