The news channels here are full of tributes to Reagan.

Apparently he was regarded as a great public speaker; his "tear down this (berlin) wall" speech has been replayed about fifty times in the last hour alone.

No mention of his referring to Princess Di as "Princess David" though.

I did a similar search, TLW, and found Mr Gall still active as of two years ago. As for the grate Sir Alistair, however, nothing. Perhaps he was inadvertently melted when they were disposing of the Spitting Image puppets a few years back.

The most recent ref I could find was his submission to the HoC re News at Ten, in 2000.
I expect he stays indoors a lot, what with the Irritable Bowel Syndrome. You can never stray far from a toilet, I should know.............and it helps to always carry a roll of bog-paper and some wet-wipes.
