WTF?

Funny I had something similiar but it doesn't happen any more. Infact mine was the other way round, When I read some post and later came back and read the new posts, these were the same ones I already had read before but for some reason were marked as new? Weird!!

Also I was just checking on new files that were created on my machine, I saw some files on Drive C that I had not seen before. When I checked the dat on the files they were pretty new, from december 2003 & January 2004. One was: Web.exe & the other mssysinf.exe (both about 8kb) I haven't run them and would not dare to just incase they might be dodgy?
Any one know any more about this and are they safe or should I remove them from the machine? Are these files usually on the Windows operating system? or are they some kind of Trojan waiting to cause havok?? Not sure about this, any one know what they are?
I have ran a virus checker and ran adware. Nothing found. I do have a firewall up as well.

well mssysinf.exe is on my machine and it says its been there since Nov 2001, and i reinstalled windows a few months back so...web.exe apparently is scanner installation software - ive got that too...i opened it and fuck all happened so you can relax ....although ....shit ! i just got disconnected and one of those nasty connection things just appeared in my connections list...called Relax...now ive got Relax and Sextracker...and neither of them stay deleted when i tell them too....dunno if thats a coincidence or not...ive prob just stressed u out now hehehe

It's always happening to me Magoo. It gets very confusing and there are occasions when I can't be arsed to read through everything. Interestingly, it also happens on Cathy Barry's Forum and that's the same system.
I once queried the provider and he/she didn't appreciate my sense of humour.

If you delete your cookies and temporary internet files, or you have a program that does it for you when you shutdown your PC, the 'new' will reappear when you restart your browser.
