New year can be a wrist slasher Maggs, I have found it,s fantastic to stay in have a smoke drink pizza, goat curry, whatever! then go out at 11.30, when everyone is already tatered, you have already told them you will see them at 8.00, but they have forgotten!, and think you have been there all night with them, it,s excellent, you have a few beers, wish the bastards a happy new year, attempt to knob someone (if your single), failing that go home and have some more beer, watch a good film (see Buttsies post), then sleep like a rabid pig, the following day your relativaly(sp) Ok, and your mates are in awe of your ability to party, cos they dont remember anything, and are nursing horrendous head throbbing and post vomiting syndrome.

Forget drunken loony relatives...worse than that is my Fathers Depression that only seems to come to the for on X-mas day...he's a negative glass empty chap for the other 363 days of the year but x-mas sends him into a spiral

Too stupid to seek help to uncover what makes him behave like this so the rest of us suffer accordingly...typical of his generation....would rather die than seek mental help
