When Victoria met Dave she was still in the Spice Girls and earning a fair bit more than him at the time. The golden boot is now on the other foot, of course, but they had no way of knowing how things would turn. Good luck to them, frankly.

Re: Vic 'n' Dave
I cannot stand the woman.
Actually, he was always worth more than her.
Like most pop cases in their early days, the figure they were estimated to be worth was a net figure and not an actual ? figure.
Louise Nurding & Jamie Redknapp were probably closer on the mark.
Not really into either but they seem ok enough.
....Ok I tell a lie. I'd love to be into Louise but that's neither here nor there.

Re: billie piper
I thought she put in a better performance than many so-called professionals: not brilliant, but at least adequate. And nice tits, by the look of it (not including the one she married).
The notion of 'Chaucer-lite' sets me teeth on edge a bit, though........what's next? The Fimbles read T S Eliot? Titus Andronicus in Estuary, by the cast of Eastenders?
And I look frighteningly like Dennis Waterman did in that, before I've had a shit, shower and shave.

Re: Vic 'n' Dave
Somebody once observed that the Beckhams have fundamentally opposing aims: she thrives on publicity, he would do better without it.
Mind you, that was before Real Madrid.......they didn't buy him entirely for his on-field skills.

Re: billie piper
I suppose I'll get blasted for this, but I was gratified by the new 'QI' on Beeb2 last night too: nice to see some wit and erudition instead of the usual dumbed-down collection of fart jokes, pratfalls and wall-to-wall swearing that passes for most British 'light entertainment'.
Alan Davies apart, of course...........
I thought Skeletor was quite a nice chap, really. We all have to earn a living, you know, and being a malignant machinator's just his way of putting Hovis on the table. Hell, I feel the same way sometimes.
