We appreciate you chaps have a lot more on your plate these days, what with the new site and all, but would it be possible to let us know when (or if) the 1000th forumite is registered so we can celebrate with a glass of mulled wine. Many of us have an almost monastic existence and need a good reason for a celebratory snifter.

ah, but would you talking about whoever assumes the magic number as his/her profile id, or s/he who becomes the 1000th active forum user? the two are inconsistent due to erroneous registrations, troll deletions, etc.

the mulled wine sounds very nice, either way.
