Seriously miss this site, one of my favourites over the years and Marino was always a very sound fella on here. Helped me out massively when a DVD order took a little while to get to me and went over and above to compensate.

Shame it kind of died of - should get them back together...

Surely there is a demand what with gonzo style porn still being very popular online?

i'd absolutely agree with you but are there the girls with the appeal that the original series girls had in order to make it financially viable. look at the cast lists of a lot of the originals and it's a who's who of not just gorgeous girls but gorgeous girls who were also fantastic performers on camera. Is there anyone who can even remotely be classed anywhere near alicia, angiegeorge, sandie, summer, jamie woods now?

I agree loved Marino videos also loved the Ben Dover videos my first r rated videos good memories,can still watch them today

Marino is a clearly a Top Bloke and really made those early Ben releases come alive I reckon, the easy banter between him & Lindsey was what made them really watchable, almost as much as the girls they were banging, shame if they later fell out but these things do happen...

Hello Guys.

First of all thank you for the kind words it made me feel really warm inside.

I am still alive and dip in and out of this site to keep up with things.
It's been a while now since leaving the industry, However I could not keep on geting ripped off by didtributers and phone companies. I have not been paid by Stricly Anywhere for over two years and they ignore my emails,

Then with the extras piled on by the tv companies and the decreasing budgets I found I was loosing all enjoyment from the actual purpose which was to make great fun porn movies.

I had so many great years in the industry and I do miss it, but also the personal price was heavy to pay, I did not want to end up unhappy and miserable like so many of my piers. I also did not want to watch myself getting older and older on film and looking like a sad old man chasing totty. Although the years have not been too unkind I felt my sell by date was approaching and it was time to slip off quietly.

I guess if I was offered a decent budget and the freedom to produce something that entertained me I would certainly consider it. It's funny I was out with some friends the other day and we came up with something we thought would be a winner, but as I am now running my removal company and have just launched my mobile cocktail wagon I just don't know if I would have the time.

you need a decent editor that's all marino. you certainly don't need someone to write them for you. my advice would be to sit down write a couple of chapters - not necessarily the first two. Then let someone you trust read it and see what they say. I'd put money on they don't come back saying you can't write. The worst you'll get is this bit doesn't sound right or you'd be better saying it this way. But beyond that it's going to start taking your personality out of it and that is a big selling point.

Best of luck Marino whatever direction your adventures take you in future. I still have that white label w/s compliation DVD you sent me to review many years ago, it's an absolute gem! The Suzie B scene may well be on there.

I agree with the gist of this thread completely - maybe I'm an old git but I find the Ben/Marino etc stuff form the 90's far more enjoyable than most of the new films. I love the nautral British 'girl next door' kind of thing.

With a few notable exceptions the models today all look the same to me - all tattoos, fake tan and tits. Not for me.

The one thing that I wish we had in the 90s was HD. Just imagine all those classics in Hi Def!
