I work with quite a few girls that have been in the industry 10 years or more, i myself have been going for 15yrs.

It also depends on your lifestyle as well as your film image as we are just as infamous on the swinging scene as we are in the industry because we really live the life we film & people can relate to that, we usually get free entry into most clubs/parties in the UK + some in Holland, France & Spain as people like to know you are real & attainable.

John advises all the girls he shoots to start making there own material now because even if its not used now it can used at a later date when the modeling drys up which will happen to us all.

The problem lies with the inversion of the UK porn scene. By and large,
with the exception of a few companies and a few websites, the UK looks
inwardly. Girls on mainland Europe travel extensively for work, the agents
in Prague and Budapest particularly, are well organised and used to thinking

I think in general US models are more hard nosed and career orientated - they see it as a job and career first and foremost whereas UK models get into the industry because they love the sex and exhibitionism (of course there are exceptions to this rule on both sides of the pond).

As others have mentioned there are lot more opportunities in the US but that's exactly why I always advise models to go over there once or twice a year. They appear on Brazzers, NA, Elegant Angel etc and use the companies notoriety to help build their own name.

Even in these tough times if a UK model really had the drive they could make a very healthy six figures a year using the US sites to advertise themselves while selling memberships to their own sites and webcams.
