Yep I agree, everyone wants to get away from doing this now and be a little more imaginitive especially in these tough times.

I didn't actually mean doing a tango to the nth degree, as yes the shagging has to come first !wink! but I know someone will shove girls in denim skirts who dance around their handbags!!!
Actually, what my beef is about is that someone takes a programme title and then doesn't try and emulate the programme whatsoever. Some have been done well and some absolutely appallingly, but more importantly there just seems to be so many show titles that have been altered. I think it makes 'us' look like we haven't got any original ideas, that's all.

think knight rider has been done as tight rider, saw it listed on this thread or on the preview link carder posted.I agree its no good just using the title of a show and then the film doesn't spoof it at all, however from what i saw on carders link they do send them up, steve hooper as the host on countdown, whoops cuntdown seemed to be enjoying the role, think it must be more fun to try and act a bit and have a script of sorts even though we know some are useless at it.

I agree, anyone selling these 'spoof' movies on websites will just alienate surfers outside of this country who won't have clue about the theme. This is why the Sky soft porn channels buy things in for peanuts then rinse and repeat. Its all thats wrong with UK porn.

Re: Sky channels, if your shooting things to sell on, who is making the biggest profit long term? Personally i would always want anything i shot to be in my hands still.
You only have to look at this forum to see old skool producers struggling for work as they just sell stuff on or shoot for others while the smart ones have done there own thing and made a profit on things themselves.
