Hi all

I'm new to this forum so apologies if I've posted this in the wrong section

A few weeks ago I signed up for this new site www.sexworld.co.uk. I'm trying to cancel my membership but having a hard time getting through - I keep getting cut off. This has happened quite a few times and I'm starting to get pissed off with it

FWIW, the site is piss-poor - there's not a huge amount on it, no search facility, amongst other things, so for anyone considering it, I'd say don't bother. It promises much but delivers little

Any advice on getting this membership cancelled, or should I just keep trying?

Just managed to get through after trying for an hour and a half

While on hold I looked through the BGAFD archives and saw that sexworld's predecessor, sexclub.co.uk, was the subject of much negativity - in particular the way subscribers have to phone up to cancel their membership. Seems like nothing's changed then

Anyway, the moral of this story - don't waste your time or money on this site!

Never subscribe to a site 'blind'. Always make plenty of checks before parting with you money.

Looks like I've learnt the hard way! Cheers for replies though - will be a bit more cautious in future

Can anyone recommend any decent pay sites? I thought Suburban Amateurs was pretty good when I used it a few months ago
