Dunno- it's always been 'the elephant in the room'. A lot of girls 'escort',
we know they 'escort', but we assume for the purposes of discussion they
are as pure as the driven and only engage in filthy nasty porn on film when
not otherwise engaged in their more usual pastimes of flower-arranging,
and jam-making for the WI.
The main reason would be the pragmatic one that accusations of
involvement in such services might be made when they are NOT in fact true,
and as such could cause offence to the particular individual so calumniated.
