There was a time when public toilets were available in London but local councils and Westminster in particular have closed many down as a money saving exercise. The lack of Public Loos in the west end is the major cause of complaint to the tourist board. So if urination in public is such a problem perhaps Westminster council should re-instate some Public Toilets.

However if they really want to collect fines try Deptford on London Marathon day 5 miles in and only 10 portaloos for 30000 people who have all had a litre of water each - now there's a WS shoot waiting to happen!

I`m not sure but I remember a site about dumb laws saying it was legal to pee in public in UK as long as you had at least one hand on your car or something. I`ll see if I can find the site again
