I feel slightly uncomfortable posting but I?ll bang on regardless because I genuinely feel I can offer some shallow, but heartfelt insight. This case is very sad and although I don?t claim to know any of the protagonists I hope you?ll allow me to sound a word of caution about jumping to immediate conclusions, especially in light of relying on media coverage as the only source of factual information.

This summer a family I genuinely loved were involved in an event of such profound tragedy it almost felt like a waking nightmare. It featured heavily on the front pages of both the tabloids and the broadsheets for weeks. Everyone who loved them struggled to understand what had happened and in the process we all made the mistake of imagining that the reporting of the incident had some footing in fact. With hindsight this was a major error in judgement.

I?m not na?ve, I work in the media myself but please bear in mind that the idea of reality when it comes to press coverage is an oxymoron. We live in a world where the concept of ?myth? has overtaken any pure idea of ?fact?. Best not draw any definite conclusions until the dust has settled and truth becomes apparent. Except of course to offer love and support to those left picking up the pieces. Thanks.

Can we cool the speculation, please? The circumstances of this awful tragedy are yet to be established and this is probably not the time (or the place) to be speculating with regard to what happened, or whether a particular individual bears any responsibility. Hopefully, the facts will be established through due process and justice meted out as best the system allows.

In the meantime, by all accounts she was a genuine person and that is reason enough to post on this thread and mourn her passing.

Middee I understand where you are coming from. Really I do. I understand the flaws and weaknesses in the human condition. But while he may have done it for an emotional reason, I am allowed to display my emotions in my own way too.

Right now I dont want to understand this guy, even though I do and from where I stand, thats all I see. Someone who had no reason to do what he did even though in a burst of drug induced or not, emotional rage he took someone out of the world who was someones daughter, someones mother, cousin, friend, colleague, lover even. In fact all that she ever was. If I look at what she did in a positive way. She was no different a social worker healing people in her own way and getting paid for her services. Thats one way of looking at it because I'm in the industry but the media want to look at it in another way. The adult industry knows it has no friend or bed partner there in the media.

If what she did was part of the reason for her demise, its not as if he didnt know what she did for a living and that is precisely my point.

Girls all have the right to choose who they want to partner up with and if the guy doesnt like what she does or cant get over it, then perhaps he should leave instead of getting all emotionally embroiled. Stewing in his own jealousy and rage. If that is the case dont get involved with a girl who do any form of work in the adult industry as you will be on the fast track to fucked in the head city. Thats where I see the guy has absolutely no excuse fo rwhat he did. He inflicted it on himself as well by perpetuating this to its fatal end.

Men are more weaker than some of us would believe. Knowing this I stick by what I said. I feel emotional about it too in my own way.

Nicely stated, Bruce... but media intrusion of the type The Sun are attempting is not warranted or desirable.

Vila - I'm sorry, I cannot agree with you at all. The media, especially media such as The Sun have an agenda and that agenda will NOT be to show the positive, sensitive, human side of this story.

having found out about trudies death from a very close friend of hers i was so shocked ! only met trudie once a few months ago and she seemed like a lovely girl , really down to earth. what a waste.
lets just hope the saying bad things come in threes is true and we have no more sad deaths , first joe a, then alan hailey and now trudie.

OK, just finished a search of the Forums, such a loss, Joe was a nice guy.

I spoke to Joe numerous times on here, he was a cool, friendly guy.

I shouldn't wander off from here so often !sad!
